KY OST e-Academy

The KY OST e-Academy provides a comprehensive collection of professional development resources created specifically for afterschool and out-of-school time educators and program professionals. Users can access a wide range of flexible, asynchronous learning opportunities, including prerecorded webinars, downloadable PDF resources, and approved e-learning courses that offer certificates of completion. These resources are designed to strengthen skills, support program quality, and empower out-of-school time professionals across Kentucky.

STEM Resources

The Kentucky Out-of-School Alliance works to expand access to high-quality STEM learning opportunities in out-of-school time settings. Through strengthening existing programs and supporting the development of new initiatives, the network is committed to helping youth engage in meaningful science, technology, engineering, and mathematics experiences beyond the school day.

Health & Wellness Resources

A healthy body and mind are essential foundations for effective learning. Afterschool and summer programs play an important role in helping students develop lifelong healthy habits that support both physical and emotional well-being. Through hands-on activities, meaningful connections, and engaging learning experiences, youth can build the skills and routines needed to grow into healthy, confident, and resilient individuals.

Summer Program

Creating meaningful summer learning experiences takes thoughtful planning, engaging activities, and strong support for students, families, and staff. Whether your organization is launching a new program, expanding existing offerings, or looking to strengthen current practices, having access to quality resources can make a lasting impact.

  • Rewatch: FundIRL Turn Social Media Accountability into Youth Opportunity

Across the country, lawsuits are underway over the impact of social media on youth well-being. If these cases result in settlements or other payouts, those dollars could create a powerful opportunity to invest in what young people need most: real-life connection.

These social media payouts could support programs that help young people thrive—after-school and summer programs, mental health supports, safe spaces, caring mentors, and opportunities to build belonging and resilience.
