Lights On Afterschool 2026: Join Us in Celebrating the Power of Afterschool Across Kentucky

This year, KYOSA is proud to amplify Lights On Afterschool celebrations taking place across the Commonwealth and shine a spotlight on the incredible work of Kentucky’s out-of-school time programs.

Through statewide media outreach, KYOSA will highlight programs and events in each of Kentucky’s six congressional districts—and we would love to feature yours. Be sure to register your event through the Lights On Afterschool Registration Page. KYOSA will use these registrations to track celebrations across the state and identify programs to include in our outreach.

Members of the KYOSA Strategic Leadership Team will also visit programs in their local communities to celebrate alongside students, families, and out-of-school time professionals.

Every registered event will also be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a Family STEM Night experience with nationally recognized STEM professional Jason Lindsey, Mr. Science.

Strong family engagement helps build lasting connections among families, programs, and communities. Through this giveaway, KYOSA hopes to support one program with a fun, memorable experience that brings families together and showcases the power of out-of-school time learning.
